Rental Policy
Rentals will be  made available on a limited basis for 14 days to institutions within the United States and Canada.. The rental fee is equal to 40% of the selling price plus shipping ($8.95 per title), which will be deducted from the subsequent purchase of that same work. If the program is ordered online at www.forwardintime.com/purchase.shtml , then the credit card used will be credited for the cost of the program minus the rental  fee when the program is returned.

Preview Policy

There are 2-5 minute clips from each of our programs available on the "Purchase" page of this web site.  For those interested, our 2 award-winning aging documentaries, FORWARD IN TIME and OUR PARENTS, OURSELVES, can be previewed online at: http://forwardintime.com/courses.shtml  After registering, there is an automatic default that allows for a free 5-day trial. 

Return Policy

Parallel Lines will replace all defective DVDs and VHS copies at no charge for 30 days.  If the defective item is returned after 30 days, there will be a $10 replacement fee plus shipping.($7.95 per title).

Streaming Video Rights
New distribution methods, including "streaming video" have created a number of complex issues for media producers, distributors, and users. As a producer and a distributor, Parallel Lines wants to meet all legitimate needs of our customers, but we must protect the rights of our program producers. To that end, Parallel Lines is developing pricing and policy guidelines which we will be happy to discuss with you. But we need to know what programs you wish to purchase,what you propose to do with the programs purchased, what technology is involved, and what safeguards will be used to prevent unauthorized access. If you are interested in "streaming video" on your campus or in your community, we wi ll be happy to send you a request form to complete.
